Liam Gallagher TITP 2011 Oasis Split Interview

Liam refutes what Noel had to say at his press conference about the breakup of Oasis. Read more:

"Oasis fans need to know he's pulling the wool. There's two people to blame for Oasis splitting up, and one of 'em's sitting here right now talking, and the other's Noel Gallagher. It's time they(?) woke up. He's no angel. People need to know that it's not just me who split the band up, it was Noel too. He was acting like a little twat, being rude to people who've been working with us for 18 years, and I got wind of it, I go up to him, bring it up to him and tell him he can wind his neck in, and he don't like being told what to do. [audio cut here] in my opinion. He's a control freak."

I don't think we can just blame one factor on the break up. It was always going to happen and if I'm honest, If I was Noel or Liam I wouldn't want to be involved in a band where arguments are getting to the point of guitars being swung about. I think that level of violence is a good enough reason alone for Noel to have quit the band.

I agree it's multiple factors, but they've been violent for a long time. Liam didn't quit back when Noel broke his arm with a cricket bat. Anyone remember that?

i love them both. Liam and Noel. But i'm on Liam's side on this one... I believe him more, don't know way i just do. Maybe it's a sixth sense or whatever. I think Liam is the man of word i don't see a reason why would he lie. He admits that there are both responsable on the other hand Noel is just talking how Liam unbearable and violet and stuff... this is just my opinion, thought

Just a thought, people say "Liam's voice is shit." I don't agree. It's a possibility that Noel didn't sing much so he saved his. Eventually, I'm sure he knew they'd split and he'd go solo. Maybe he thought it out all along. His solo album is high in the charts after all. Maybe?

I think both Noel and Liam have made the best out of a bad situation to be honest. Noel has what I think is a great new album and Liam is part of what I think is a great band. Maybe it was for the best? Nice interview :)

@DigsysBird i hear ya man. im a huge fan of both but you just have that feeling liam is speaking the real. not to mention noel admitted to lying about alot of things about the hangover thing and so much more. liam is the real deal. he may be a mean muthaf'a sometimes but he speaks his mind and the truth. noel... not so much.
