The first time i saw Alice was in 2006, i was 9. I remember we had to leave, and he was doing an encore. I cried because I didn't want to leave so my dad brought my to the side of the stage and lifed me up. AND HE WAS RIGHT THERE!!! He winked and waved. BEST NIGHT EVAR! I loved it.

@DrFuckenstien Oh yeah for sure. For his 2007-2008 tour he swapped it out for a hanging and for his 2009-2010 tour he did four deaths" Hanging, decapitation, lethal injection and impalement. Fucking AWESOME.

@DrFuckenstien On this DVD he does 28 songs in an hour and a half. If he did all of them at their normal length then the setlist would have been way smaller. He also used the medley as sort of a mini-play, with a loose story running through the songs. Lately he's moved away from that though and gone onto different set structures.

@DrFuckenstien For a while he would do it as part of a medley with other songs. On this particular tour he did Welcome to my Nightmare, the Awakening, Steven, Only Women Bleed, Ballad of Dwight Fry, Killer and I Love The Dead as one long performance (though he didn't sing I Love The Dead). I reckon he does this because it lets him get more songs into the setlist. Bands have curfews they have to meat and if he did all of those songs whole it would take up a huge part of the set.
