Marxists, union officials, Code Pink leaders, and far left loons held a rally against capitalism today at the Chamber of Commerce Headquarters in Washington DC. The protesters reportedly said they want jobs - just not the kind of jobs created by Chamber of Commerce members in a free society.

That's Marxist Medea Benjamin from Code Pink speaking to the protesters from the stage.

  • There is NO Occupy Wallstreet "movement" This is just the same cabal of left wing groups again trying to astroturf a phony outcry just like with the failed "Coffee party"

The lefties keep changing their name , this is how they have always operated.

Now they attempt to make their message so vague that it taps into the anti crony captialism of the right.

  • Bunch of lowlifes.

  • I don't get it. Why would you attack the Chamber of Commerce?

Small Businesses should be protested? WTF?

This whole OWS shit is making less sense everyday.

  • @MoonKittenJD Here " Dodd Frank Act Section 358

SEC. 358. COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT OF 1977." No go get someone to read it and explain what all those words mean.. then come back and apologize to me I wasn't referring to the dodd fwank banking regs that will cost and have cost us money...of 2010. here is a FACT anytime liberals control the house we have a national catastrophe

  • @carlindelco "" DID NOT occur before dodd fwank"

uhh... DF was 2010, bailout was 2008, my aunt's predicament happened before the bailout so don't even try to lie to me like that...

the whole lending higher than people can afford is what caused the financial crisis so don't even pretend DF had anything to do with it. I know basic causality and 2008 was long before 2010 dude...

  • @carlindelco the bankers have the algorithms for determining whether somebody can afford to live at a given price. They tell the person whether that person can afford it or not. they deliberately gave out loans they knew people couldn't afford so they could chop them up and sell them as assets in the derivative markets. It was a for profit ploy they've been using for a long time.

  • @MoonKittenJD People DON"T NEED to live in a home they can not afford. That's why there are rentals.. DOH!

They didn't qualify under NORMAL and RESPONSIBLE lending. They were FORCED through regulation to irresponsible lend money see Dodd Fwank . When you open the cookie jar there will be gluttons,, even so,.. it something that DID NOT occur before dodd fwank

  • @DefendThyself " not even being qualified for the job."

How is having 2 masters degrees "not qualified"?

  • @carlindelco "WHY the people took the loans?"

Because people need to live in houses?

"Why they wouldn't get a loan otherwise? because they did NOT qualify"

If a person qualifies for an 80K loan how do they not also qualify for a 40k?

"First hand" do you want my aunts number? you can call her yourself if you want and ask her how much they approved her for and why they wouldnt approve her for less.

  • @MoonKittenJD DOH!!!! Did it occur to you WHY the people took the loans? Or Why they wouldn't get a loan otherwise?? because they did NOT qualify that is why they are called SUB-prime loans.. "first hand" what a joke. poser.. Yeah ok sure.... they wouldn't approve a 40k loan ok sure..
