New South Wales Up for Sale - Stop the Sell-Offs!
Power to the People (an anti-privatisation activist group) spokesperson, Colin Drane, speaking at a Public Meeting, Parramatta Town Hall on the 16th July. This meeting was organised by Sydney's Power to the People and Parramatta's Your Rights at Work.
The Rees' Government is selling our public assets, the opposite of the economic strategies adopted around the world to combat the global financial crisis and threat of recession. This has serious implications for the citizens of NSW who will see public services slashed while the rising cost of essential services will make them a luxury that most wont be able to afford.
