This is a good REcipe and my Granpa would get a chile paste then put it in a clay oven or a big pot. My my would make beef Birria in a pot just like you are doing it... This is your best recipe and as authentic as possible. So kudos to you..... People only make 2 types of Birria beef (res) and mutton (chivo). We make tacos de birria or in a bowl like you did. Good job white girl !

Hi saw your Vid, I am also Mex American. And thumbs up on your lil Doc. I would also like to add to your recipe. With most soups my Mom taught me to lightly sear the meat w/ little oil before putting in water to boil to get that grilled flavor in your soup. Just some hints. I don't know if it would apply on this certain dish. Thanks anyways
