It's bad idea to do this if you used fraps as recorder, 1GB of video come in, 500MB come out because settings were set to high quality.

easy. your monitor might be 4:3 aspect ratio (or might look more like a square) instead of 16:9 (more like a long rectangle). Maybe get a new monitor or change the dimensions of your current monitor.
