It's munchies for monkeys, in this unusual religious festival from Thailand.

monkey: what are you looking at?

    *looks down*

    monkey:why thank you.

    *nom nom nom*

  • hahah hes hungry

  • They actually drink the pepsi from the can XD

  • There are millions of monkey poppulated in Lopburi province alone (Im not talk about other provices), and most of these monkeys dont have anything to eat so they usually steal food from tourists, houses, and street vendors. So this festival has been started and takes place annually.

  • There's a fine line between "offering food" and offering obesity xD

  • this song sounds like it should be on crash bandicoot! haa

  • i think giving food to an animal/human who actually NEEDS the food would generate good karma..common sense.. but this? not good placement of a lot of nice food

  • I have found one use for these nasty vermin. If you hook them right, thru the neck and out the nose, keeping their mouth shut, they make a handy shark bait. The babies work well for smaller fish, barracuda etc. They splash a lot attracting attention. The damm things can last up to an hour before they drown.

Now the sharks follow my boat looking for a tasty treat.

I never tire of hearing them scream.

  • I noticed how thai people prepared all the food so beautifully. I am not really in favor of the food offering to monkeys but I think the display is beautiful and a smart way to attract visitors.
