  • @CoreyForeside it looks average, but there is never an intrusion inside in a crash and there are additional crumple zones left after the crash so it will absorb even more forces (like crashing at higher speeds) without bending rock solid safety cage.

+ since 1st volvo s80, there is a huge array of sensors all over volvo cars to make sure occupants evade or minimize injuries.

for example, laguna fares better than s60 in ncap, but in 100kmh crash, laguna occupants die, volvo's survive.

  • Volvo forever

  • Where did the whole "Volvo cars are the safest" thing come from? From what I've seen they usually perform average or below average...

  • this powder thing is not imporatant. important is that the Volvo is still freakin safe.

  • I see, that makes sense.

  • not smoke; it's powder

  • the safety cage held to good!!!! 10/10 ß ¢ µ ŀ→¢ħ¶→ðßßðŋßðħijħŋĸŋħĸŧł³¶¼¼³²¼ðʼnħ

  • its probably airbag smoke, and the outlander just has different airbags. I wouldn't worry about smoke anyways as long as there is no fire.

  • excelent

    perfect security.
