My first max rebo band set! "Sy Snootles and the Rebo Band" Set - Purchased for $80 new in package, look for them on Ebay for $100 to $300 depending on condition. Released in 1983 by Hasbro as a full set with the original 77 figures.

  • That's a good-looking find. I like seeing these old sets next to the current vintage collection. It really is awesome seeing almost the exact same packaging from years ago being redone today. Great vid!

Btw, Droopy McCool is totally the best member of the Max Rebo band! XD

  • @MrCorellian how can you go wrong with a name like droopy mccool? he sounds pimp. Yeah I hear you i'll forever be a fan of the vintage carded stuff. thanks for watching!

  • I remember someone selling this back in 1990 for $200. I'm going to have to put this on my list of eBay searches.

By the way, I just got some really great deals on vintage carded figures. I'll post a video soon with the details. I took some of your tips to save some big money!

  • @micahc6v8 Wow thanks for the kind words. Yes, it's a nice one and I don't know how I got lucky with such a great condition one.

  • Err...this is getting really annoying. Every time you upload a video, it doesn't show up on my homepage.

  • @MrNerdyreviews dude not only do i deal with that (I miss a lot of your videos too) but youtube doens't notify me when I have a comment from you. #$)(#*$. I usually just make a habit to check in to your channel :(

  • @TheBudgetJedi Yeah very nice condition! I actually got these figures back in the 80:s, and still have them. Last fall I discovered the original box (another, smaller one than yours) on my father's attic, and stupidly, and in a mood of forced cleaning up, I threw it away. But it was just the cardboard part, any plastic inset was already gone. Still, I hate to think about the disappointment of a hundred collectors (or my money waste)...

  • YES!!! AWESOMENESS!!!:D

  • @TheBudgetJedi Yeah, same thing. I just have to check your page at least once a day.

  • you have a realy good cantina team i can say that : )
