@KoaHenderson theres nothing fake about this guy dude...hes a beast. His record may not be impecable but hes got the heart of a lion and stepped up to the plate at the drop of a dime. If Belfort is ur cousin then fine, i got mad respect for the dude. HOWEVER, tank abbott is a fuckin force of nature who can survive without having actual martial art skill. Straight up brawler man.

@ACRanger13 Lol please, my cousin vitor smashed this fake...at 19 and damn near 70 pounds lighter...exposed.

The thing that made Tank dangerous was his visciousness. He was never very skilled, but he had ruthless aggression.

for true fans of the sport that have been around since UFC 1 Tank was a badass. Oleg fight was epic

tanks one of my all time favorite cage fighters, He had a viciousness reminiscent of a young mike tyson.. alot of fighters these days lack that.. everyone wants to watch a fighter that truly wants to hurt his opponent..

yes this is back when they had the Ultimate Ultimate, when there would be three or more fights a night , kill or be killed. They do not have this anymore, Long live the Tank!!

He looks like an average fattie but he kills anyone damn .

There is an interview here with tank on youtube someone, a must see for any tank fans. I agree with him 100% on everything he says. Sometimes he would fight three times a month, or take a fight with only a week's notice. He says he probably could have won alot more if he had trained for a particular fight, but he realized that mindset when he was already too old. It was a shame because Tank trained hard for Kimbo, he showed up in his best shape in a while.

The hate on tank is undeserved. Tank has a college degree, was a star wrestler, and was also an aspiring boxer, he could have turned pro (trained by Jesse Reid). But he admits that his thing was always bare knuckle fights and brawling. He knew what he loved to do. He eventually got his brown belt in bjj, but it didn't change him as a fighter. Tank has said before his job is to get hit and exchange with someone, so thats why he still brawls when he could easily wrestle or do submissions...

@valiantbros He wasn't a Division 1 champion. He was a Junior College All American and was slated to wrestle Division, but a car accident sidelined his career.
The injuries from that accident actually crept back up when he started fighting MMA.
People can talk all they want, but I guarantee NOBODY in these comments would talk some shit to Tank if they saw him at the bar or in the street.
