I'd be grateful to see a video of just a memory swap... I'm ordering one in two weeks & will probably order w/ minimum memory and try upgrading myself for cheaper.

Just use this guide for memory swap, it's fairly easy. If you wish to populate all slots all you need is to remove the keyboard.

please correct me if i am wrong, but in order for me to put 32gb in this badboy, I need to remove the keyboard to access the other 2 dimm slots?

Yes, that is correct.

Same thing. Follow this tutorial to remove the HDD assembly. Then disconnect the cable from HDD/s and remove 4 screws to release the hard drive. For the RAM:
everything is in the video, 2 slots are reavealed after removing the back panel and 2 more under the keyboard
