"I want to be like You Daddy God" I found this to be utterly sweet and truly loving and just as soon as I heard it joy filled my heart, I had a bewildered smile.. and I thought it was just beautiful. What a sweetheart this loving girl has and a most amazing song I'm playing it over and over! :)

They left out the best line: 'I was a thief, you said I stole your heart'! If you like this one, you'll love Anthony Skinner's original.

God saves us from ourselves. He is the only person who can deliver us. I love the Lord.

@takitheterrible Yeah Anthony writes for them a lot. I played with him a couple months ago at my church. The original version of this song is awesome too. Such a great guy to play music with. Mad skills haha

@jdmguitar100 since you love to count pronouns my friend, please count all the pronouns used in the psalms and get back with me. Ok seriously I know I'm being sarcastic, but really man? This is a great song, why be so critical?
OH MY GOSH BEST SONG EVER !!!

@manuellayenga 2 months ago, I would've thought you were crazy for saying that this is the "best song ever." But right now, I can't name a better song that I've ever heard in my life. The second verse -- just to think about it -- it's amazing.

I know this song is intended to glorify Jesus but when you add up the pronouns, lyrically the worshipper gets the Lion (of Judah's) share of the attention.

@jdmguitar100 Though this song uses "I" and "me" a lot, the first verse is devoted to saying how depraved "I" am and the second to say "I" am never alone. The bridge is "I" was ashamed, "You" call me beautiful. It's not bad this songs uses "I" and "me" a lot. It's the perfect testimony.

@TheDom66 I think Anthony Skinner writes for them. I know he does the School of Worship and they cover him frequently.
