twitter seems like an overkill. Youtube does just fine for you. Your so spontanious its amazing

Protecting your updates pretty much solves that, although of course it has the disadvantage that it can potentially make your Twitter seem less welcoming to followers who have a genuine interest.
On occasion I've had to warn people with "protected" Twitter updates, that actually that status still gives away more info than they thought it did.

I have a twitter too. Mostly I get followed by spammers.
