To be fair it is incredible how this has suffered with time. Then it was one of the most radical new moves ever. It came out of the climate: The peak of the electronics age, with electronic music and toys all the rage, video games and home computers then were very new exciting ideas, and the space race and what technology could achieve were still very much in people's minds. The ground-breaking Fiat Strada 'Hand built by robots' ad just three years before.
