A clip from the documentary about Mario Bava's Danger: Diabolik featuring Stephen R. Bissette. A really nice framing of the cultural history of the fumetti in Italy and the differences between the European and US tradition of super heroes vs. super criminals.

  • @Vebinz This documentary is included in the "Danger: Diabolik" official DVD release, it's only about 20 minutes long but it's well worth having, it's got interviews with Ennio Morricone, Roman Coppola and Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, which "Body Moving" music video is also included in the package :)

  • Great clip, with many interesting facts about the Italian comics. I wasn't aware two ladies created Diabolik.

    Where is this documentary from?

I've only seen the film and (tried to play) the computer game, so this was interesting.

    Thanks for uploading.
