@pcgamezoid Depends what kind of overdrive you want. If you want a Marshall kind of overdrive, then no, but if you just want a tube saturation...definitely. The trouble is that you really need to turn it up, which isn't always possible in smaller clubs.
Keep in mind though, it's DESIGNED to be used with pedals. If you want distortion, they've got other amps with those channels in them.

is it true that this amp really needs a pedal to hit those sweet Overdrive tones? i've got a short test drive on the classic myself and i can't seem to get much from it. The most i could get out of it is a hint of tube saturation.
