Strengthens the shoulder muscles.

How To:
Stand with your knees slightly bent and your feet shoulder width apart. Hold the barbell at shoulder height with your elbows bent directly below your hands and your palms facing forward. Exhale and press the barbell straight up overhead until your elbows are only slightly bent. Slowly lower the barbell to starting position and repeat for the desired number of reps.

Recommended Equipment: Olympic Bar or Barbell

  • @Botemedlet to make it look easy. I do that infront of friends if im showing them someting lol :P

  • @groovybassline I do it seated - it's still working your deltoids but you won't be working your core as much given there's less of a need to balance/stabalise.

  • Will it give the same results if you do this press while sitting down?
