  • Which plane was it at 50sec, from which AF?

  • English Electric Lightning F.6 of the R.A.F

  • Great vid but I don't like the Su-47 because all you have to do is clip its wings and it will go down otherwise its a great plane and the Su-37 ( it had to many problems) great job on the vid though.

  • Whats that gotta do with anything, we did research on FSW technology too u know

  • No video and crappy music! This is u-tube pollution. Thanks for wasting everyone's time.

  • well, the first *successful* delta-winged fighter was the MiG-21. but as far as aircraft with delta wings, the Mystere Delta prototype, the F-102 Delta Dagger, and the A-4Skyhawk predate it by a couple of years. But as far as a truly successful fighter, then yes the MiG-21 was the first.

  • Extraordinarily bad background music...the singer should be put out of his misery...hell, put him out of MY misery! Cool planes, though.

  • What is the swept forward beast at :26 and 1:51 ?

    Got me stumped.

  • @ratface111

It's a filmstrip with a soundtrack. Wait untill you see the video games clips. You wil be overjoyed.

  • no gripen, rafale, blackbird?

    anywayy good job!

  • @brtshstel Western aircraft have, as is, never faced any MiG type in combat under actual, Third World War conditions which would have existed in Europe had the Cold War escalated (primarily, under conditions of there being many, many, many more MiG aircraft in the air than western types). Interestingly, however; Egyptian MiG-21 defeated Libyan MiG-23 in one of their earlier scuffles... the Fishbed's agility making it the better dogfighter (the Flogger, more an interceptor).

  • @brtshstel Yeah, plus the Soviet attrition-oriented wartime doctrine for which they designed their aircraft and trained their pilots was kind of disadvantageous to any one type achieving impressive stats. The Warsaw Pact air forces were comfortably convinced that they could defeat NATO with overwhelming numbers, in spite of relying largely on more dated aircraft. It was thus not the MiG's fault that its ratio was less impressive, as it was routinely up against more advanced aircraft in combat.

  • @l3attlel2oyal Well, considering the number of Western countries that used it, as well as the impressive combat record achieved by the Israeli Defense Forces in the 60s and 70s, I would say yes. While the MiG-21 was very widely used and built in huge numbers, it only brought limited success in actual combat.

  • @brtshstel Would the Mirage III be the 'most' successful in terms of actual combat ratios?

  • 0:29 what plane pleez awnser

  • where is the Tornado F3?
