How much did the floor cost? I wish someone would have told you about laminate flooring. No glue necessary (snap-ins) and you could've had it done in 1 day. Nice work though - always a fan of those who take on tasks they dont normally do and succeed with a good sense of pride in their work.

@csphilli2 Thank you, the floor was about $800.00...i have done my research and im not a big fan of laminate.

you should have painted and then put the floor in :)

(i would of been worried that I would drip paint onto a new hardwood floor)

It took me two weeks straight...from beginning to end. Yes i have a job, i used 2 weeks out of my 3 weeks vacation to remodel. On other projects i would work on weekends here and there.
