I've chosen a song by A Perfect Circle - "The Noose" because it's a song that I thought would fit such a tragic event in history.

  • This is NOT anti-Soviet propaganda, but the TRUTH about a very important historical event. It shows not only the difficult position that Poland had to face after Hitler & Stalin made a pact, but also that the war in Poland did not end in May 1945 and that the Liberation was in fact an occupation.

  • Talking about the truth is not propaganda. Propaganda is when you try to pretend as if nothing has happened. Soviets occupation and mass murdering of inconvenient people was as real as Nazis occupation and holocaust. I dont understand why Russians see Katyn as an offence. You should be ashamed of Stalinisms crimes same as Germans should be ashamed of Hitlers. Hiding your heads in the sand will not help. The only way we could forgive each other is to admit the truth.

  • ok, so what about Poles killed by UCCR in 1930's then?hundreds of thousands of civilians killed , there is no monuments to them in Poland at all(though there should be) so how You explain that?if there was this hate to Russians in Pl we certainly wouldnt let it go, Katyń is important for us for the reasons I already gave

P.S sorry for such a late response

  • @6videl: Katyn "victims" were military officers, police officers, politicians, judges, landlords, etc. They were NOT civilians. You didn't answer anything about Volhynia, you were just evasive. Monuments to Polish UPA victims are the size of urinals. Monuments to the Katyn elitists are big enough to cover Liechtenstein. What I don't understand is why Poles hate Russians so much over Katyn, but are lovers with Ukrainian nationalists after Volhynia.

  • @hectorbolshevik

elitist how You understand this word?inteligentia was not people?what is wrong with You?You killed the best of the best of this country-enginers, doctors, professors etc. I already answered what is going on about Wołyń massacres, and You just keep on ignoring this and whining without much sense. There already are Wołyń massacre monuments, it is just there will be a new one in Warsaw

P.S. You seem to think that Poles somehow hate Russians for no reason, which is not true

  • @Gosha169 Russians are mafiosa assholes but the Poles were stupid in WW2. To survive they needed to ally themselves either with Germany or USSR. And they allied with a naval power(UK)???!!! Dumb, dumb, dumb. It it cost the Poles 50 years of communist slavery for choosing stupid leaders...

  • @6videl: The truth is very simple: it all depends on who does the killing of Poles that determines if it will be a tragedy or a forgivable wrong doing.

  • @6videl: Yeltsin apologized for Stalin for the Katyn incident, and today you guys act like it happened last week. If Putin made heroes out of the NKVD, the Russian embassy in Warsaw would look like it just got vomitted on. With Yushchenko and the UPA; not one peep from Poland. If a memorial is ever built in Poland to the Polish UPA victims, it will be no bigger than a urinal.

  • @6videl: Maybe a common soldier, yes. An officer, no. Those in Katyn were not common people, but elitists. Its just ironic how you people cry a niagra of tears for the elite killed in Katyn, but simply brush aside the civilians killed by the UPA. True they were not Poland's friend, but you've done a commendable job in making the whole world think so. Remember when Yushchenko praised the UPA? Poland was VERY quiet. Your lies are just funny.

  • I think there is no point in talking with You as You clearly dont want to know the truth but be stuck in Your world oif faNntasy even though the whole world thinks differen

  • Ukr is a torn country and they already asked for forgivness and admitted what they did, then the next goverment made heroes out of these murderers, and so we do remember(soon inWarsaw we will have another memorial of it)but untill Ukr is normal and united country we will not get anywhere with them.We also have in deep respect the Warsaw Uprising that was destroyed by GERMANS, is it also our BS?,

P.S. it was more then 21 000 ppl

  • @hectorbolshevik

how killing a POW is not a crime?maybe in Russian world it isnt, also dont tell me who they were as You have no idea about it and what You say is a disgrace for dead and theirs families. Also it is not bussiness of Yours to tell us what crime should we look at, Ukr was not our friend in 39 and I doubt it is now, Wołyń massacre was IS investigated by Polish Institute of National Remembrance.
