I have to admit, I didn't like it the first couple of times I listened to it, but I really grew to love it. Especially Cribcaged and Spitfall. It's one of my favourite albums now!

I really like this song, I almost like the EP more than the album. I like this one because it's dirge-slow and bludgeoningly heavy, and unlike a lot of contemporary progressive metal bands, they take the time to put some emotion and dynamics into it.

Not really, it's got songs from the new album on it. Pretty much a preview.

They've covered a handful of songs. Yellow Raven and Hallelujah by Scorpions and Jeff Buckley, respectively, have been the most common by far, and incidentally they were both the first two to be guessed in the contest by different people. Seriously, not a difficult conclusion to reach.
But I'll agree that the new EP is really more for strict fanboys than anyone else.

OK, but I'm thinking, nonetheless, because they have done other songs,theres a high possibility that it was someone close to the band or from the record company. Who cares anyway, theres no point in getting an EP that contains almost no original material that is not going to be on the LP

Pain Of Salvation is my favorite band.I also love Nile,Meshuggah,Opeth,Akercocke and many more "progressive"bands but P.O.S is the one and only band that carved me so deeply.They are gradually a part of me!!!I would like them to turn more aggressive but honestly dear youtubers I don't care if they won't!!Because they are a unique band that express their feelings through progressive vibes of unknown origin!As long as they are pure I know they will amaze me,,,:D:D:D:
