This was one of the few acceptable days for visiting the fair this year, with "acceptable" being used very loosely. Cold, rain, more cold, more rain... hard to imagine much money was made, but at least many of the locals still made it out and spent some cash. I went up on Mt Pleasant, in nearby Rising Park, to film a few minutes of the fun being had below. Look closely... if you went on Tuesday this year, you might see yourself. :-)

Thank you for submitting this to Youtube!! I grew up across the street from the fairgrounds and the fair was always a highlight of the year for me. I've lived in California for almost 20 years now and I'm always homesick during fair week. What kind of video camera are you using to shoot this? You have got some very clear shots from a huge distance on the mountain. Thanks again!

It must really suck for the Pugh family to no long be the powerhouse carnival in OH. any longer. Too bad they lost it all and pissed it all away. They must really hate seeing some other nicer show coming in to play their own hometown now while they live in a shack on the outskirts of town, beaten down and broke. Muhahahahaha!

Rubbertoe... its not like me to be one who asks " whats the music in your video?" here on youtube, -But I love the sound tracks in all your vids, and I cant help but ask who IS the artist you use in your videos!? Once again, great video! cant wait to see more of your 3-D vids for sure..

Umm... apparently some of the CDs I had that I thought were royalty-free aren't. :-) This video got tagged as having copyrighted music in it... luckily they let me leave it up. I'll have to get my tracks figured out. O_o

I have a few of those "royalty free" audio CDs that have generic music you can use in non-commercial projects. I *think* they are from a company called x-ray dog... I don't have em handy at the moment, as I ripped them to mp3, but I'm pretty sure that's where they were from. :-) tnx for the complements
