The live version was definitely better. It's more upbeat and fast paced, reminds me of Got To Get You Into My Life.

@dzeiger Well, "Coming Up [live at Glasgow]" was the hit here in the U.S. but throughout Europe, the studio version from McCartney II was the hit. The studio version hit #2 in the U.K. while the live hit #1 here/

A studio version of Coming Up was recorded for the McCartney II album. The live version (performed by Wings before the breakup) was on the B side of the studio 45 record, and most radio stations decided they liked that one better. And the live version, often referred to as a McCartney single but actually credited to McCartney & Wings, hit No. 1 in the U.S.
