Bulls vs Nuggets 1996 - Michael Jordan 39 points

The Bulls entered the game on a franchise record 18-game winning streak.

But the Nuggets had no intentions of laying down to be victim No. 19.

Denver came out on fire and exploded to a 31-point lead.

The Bulls fired back in the third quarter, however, and took the lead. Jordan led the furious comeback with 23 third-quarter points.

The Nuggets took control in the end, however, and won 105-99.

Jordan finished with 39, Bill Wennington scored 18 and Scottie Pippen scored 13.

Denver's Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf led the Nuggets with 32 points.

The loss took the Bulls' record to 41-4.

81 points is amazing, totaly crazy. but overall its not enough to make a player the best (which is what being better then jordan means). if it were enough then david robinson would be also better then jordan since he scored 71 points in a game.

and wilt would be undoubtably the best ever.
