An interesting and fun animation of why the Philippines is still poor. After several revolutions and civil wars, Filipinos are poorer than ever.

I hope someday the masa will understand what is happening and stop being gullible to celebrities in politics and media.

  • "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". Ganun nangyayari sa sistema ng Pilipinas. Maybe we should try something different. Try parliamentary system. just a simple opinion from a simple guy.

  • @designpinoy try a new system? so they can do corruption over and over again? that's absurd... another youtuber was right. its not about the mechanism, its about the operator.

  • @dingory in our current condition I think it's easier to change the mechanism rather than the operator. Lagi ko din naririnig the people should change not the government but we are not that wise and mature yet. It's important we keep an open mind and be open to change.

  • Di ba yung USA, presidential yung sistema? bat di ninyo sinama sa video? :D

  • That's why Philipinos leave the Philippines to go to different country to have a better life. My wife is from Philippines and she became a nurse so she can leave the Philippines to have a better life in the States.

  • @Sum1OverTheRainbow - Well i disagree with you. The masses are not ignorant. They are in fact the first to live a life of misery and having said that they clearly know there is a problem. I'll give you a quote from Euthopia. "If the govrnmnt suffer their people to be ill-educated, and their manners corrpted from infancy, and then punish them 4 those crimes to wc their first education disposed them, what else is to be concluded but that the government first make thieves and then punish them?"

Land Reform, stoppage of monopoly, hoarding of goods etc.

  • @designpinoy I agree with you.

@dingory what you are trying to point out is the culture where almost everyone w/ a position in our government automatically takes advantage, its the mind setting.

My brother and I had a very long discussion about this. He is insisting that we must learn to change our mind setting (/culture).. I asked him "how?" he replied thru evolution..

I asked him again, "'til when?" - Kapag nainvade na ang mundo ng Aliens 150 years from now?
