USL Hollywood Homeless: NatWest Community Force 2011

USL see the arts as an engine for change. For many years the homeless community and street drinkers have been perceived as a problem around St Luke's. But rather than see just the problem USL seek a solution, and are now running the Hollywood Homeless project. Since we started some of the participants have started turning their lives around. We're not claiming it's only because they've been working with USL, but we have helped them to gain confidence, build self esteem, develop skills, and re-rediscover creativity. And we've also helped the wider community appreciate that anyone of us could find themselves in the same position.
