Just FYI: They gave out 10,000 beta keys yesterday. And they're still giving out more and more.
Sign up on the forums guys. Be active, Make new friends, Join armies. Really raises your chance in getting a beta key.
Also make sure to join the community AND the DEVS on IRC in the channel #Firefall

I'm really looking forward to this game. Hope it won't take long for Open Beta to start (or that I get lucky and get a beta key next week).

@askherserenity If they go through steam, they'll have to give steam a percentage of the sales made through the online store. Meaning that they'll either have to sell the game, charge monthly or hike up the prices just to stay afloat.
I'm fine without steam.

I haven't been keeping up with Firefall TOO much but wouldn't it be great if they were to release on Steam? A lot of mmo's are getting more and more players once they are released on Steam. This game and Steam seem like a match made in heaven.
