My farm backs up to Fairy Stone State Park. I love it here, and it is truly "God's Country!!"
I think she refrained from telling the story about the fairies crying to respect the religions (or non-religious) from being offended. Or actually separating church from state. (???)
If you haven't been here in a year, you should come and see the improvements!!

Fairy Stone State Park is not very far away from my hometown in Martinsville, Virginia. We recently hiked up Stuart's Knob with one of the park rangers, and enjoyed learning more about the town of Fayerdale and the iron mines/milling that are an important part of the area history. We visited Cox's Mill afterwards on Goblintown Creek, which used the iron in the nearby blacksmith shop
