the reason I asked for the name of the band was to locate them when I got to burma next time and record another video. I will definitely go to Meit-hti-lar just to make a recording.. their works deserved to be well-known, especially the woman drummer player.

If you tell somebody in Meiktila that you want to see Ta Bo Thin, you can see him and Zar Ni Htet (woman pat-waing player). Besause they are husband and wife. They play at many kind of events as professional players. I hope you will do good job. We hired them for a donation ceremony at a monastery. The following is a video of the ceremony.

This band is a kind of special session. Ta Bo Thin (Pat-waing player) and other players.... Each player is a master in Maiktila. So this band has no name. Each musician has been working locally in this city. They are masters. But they are not famous in all over the country. And there are very few CD that they play, maybe no CD. So this video that I uploaded is the only video. They are not so famous in Myanmar, but they are true specialists. There are a lot of great masters in local cities.
