[Notes:person on stretcher]The Grupo Taca Airbus A320 had 140 people on board. [Notes:ambulance] Immediately following the wreck---rescue crews frantically hosed down the cars trapped beneath the plane -----as thousands of gallons of flammable jet fuel spread all over the roadway. [Notes:fire crews]Most of the passengers were from Honduras, El Salvador and Costa Rica. [Notes:passengers being evacuated] Following the crash, officials acknowledged that the runways in the Honduran capital -- are short and dangerous. Is not about it being cheap, it's the airport that it has always been insanely dangerous, and it requires EXTREMELY skilled pilots and good weather.
