I agree Shamrock stronger than Cung at the ground.. but how to bring Cung to the ground is the point ....Any fighter want that when fight with Cung Le but they counldn't

yep cung le, is what mma needs its own version of bruce lee... cause if bruce lee was in it he would kick arse... if you watch cung he rarely gets hit, and he is hard to take down, because he is so quick and smart... bruce was even quicker and ever smarrter..... a little smaller but hits and kicks just aas fucken hard

I saw one body lock. That was the closest thing to a "takedown" I saw from Shamrock. Why do Cung Le fans insist that Shamrock tried to take him down? He stood with him and got destroyed. That was easily predictable. But when were these takedown attempts? Did I miss them?

My favorite part of the fight was when Le took down Frank and was asked if he wanted to display his ground skills in Shamrock's guard. No thanks.

Le beats crappy Shamrock and people want to see him fight Silva. what a joke

That is too true, being over confident can back fire big time. Especially when fighting a world champ who is undefeated like Cung Le.  BTW go watch Cung kick ass in Pandorum Sept 25,2009.

That is so true. They spend way to much time doing ground work, they cant do anything else. In order to win, you have to be diverse in all the arts, not just the ground work. And speed is a factor.

frank tried to take le down but he couldnt. look cung le is trained in martial arts tkd sanshou kickboxing and some other stuff most mma fighters nowadays are like bjj and wrestling so i mean they can fight standing up and when they cant bring their opponent down they cant win
