This short tutorial shows how to play C&C Generals (Zero Hour) in a network with two (or more) computers.

Don't you need two zero hour cd's though? cuz my computer needs the zero hour CD1 to work. So do i need to burn it in order to play with my brother on two computers?

Yes you can try to burn it, or find a no cd fix (search for it on gamecopyworld).

Make sure both computers are on the same network.

@GeneralPTZ what if my friend lives in Virginia and I live in Canada and we both have unlicensed cracked copies of the game and i have no idea how hamachi works

@bentheweirdo Then you should learn how hamachi works, it's not that difficult. Just google Hamachi tutorial or whatever. It will work just fine, even with your copies of the game. Good luck :)

@bentheweirdo Well do you both have hamachi installed and joined each others network? If not, then first download hamachi, then one of you create a new network and set a name and password for it, then let your friend join the network by giving him the info.

When you both show up in hamachi in the same network, you can both run Generals, go to network options, select the LAN IP Address beginning with 5.x.x..., make sure ur friend does the same. Then go to Multiplay - Network as in the vid. GL!

@Bogimeister123 join a network in hamachi with users online and then go to zero hour>multiplayer>network and you must see those ppl and their games. Make sure you connect to lots of hamachi networks for a bigger chance to meet online users :)

you can use a WLAN cabbel to connect 2 PC and then you will see each other in the lobby or you can use a router to connect. make sure your IPs are like 192.168.1.3 and 192.168.1.4 or something similar. to change your ip you must go to your network settings and then change 'obtain automaticly IPs' to custom ips
