How are we foolish to live on a 100 and 500 year flood plain? Iowa City is a great town, and we're not going to pussy out and move away just because of water. In your words, it's foolish for people to live anywhere. People in Oklahoma are foolish because they could get hit by tornadoes. People in Florida are foolish because they could get hit by a hurricane. No- shit happens everywhere, no matter where you live.

I lived there in the 70-80's, got smart and left before all the niggers showed up and ruined a great town... Now..... I hear its just another shit-hole, run by blind liberals... whom have INSISTED on diversity. Now you have to carry a gun, lock yer shit up, dont walk alone in the parks etc...... stupid is- stupid does. Enjoy your diversity.

Yes...Iowa is a state. And it's the home of Slipknot. The band is based in Des Moines.
