@psycosis842 well you CAN use your legs, but the deadlift is really a posterior chain exercise. (glutes, hamstrings, lower back) notice how i ordered it. the glutes is the hardest working muscle to deadlift it up, where the lower back is not the hardest working muscle.

horrible technique, your supposed to use legs at bottom then back at top. but thats my opinion

@rogue8853 YES!, Running shoes are horrible for dead and squats. I always do mine in some chucks.
