"CALIFORNIA FIRESTORM 2009", an Alan Simmons/Firestorm HD Production

Selected scenes from the two volume, two hour long video filmed in HD of the wildfires in Southern California during the 2009 fire season. Volume 1 features the "Jesusita Fire" in Santa Barbara where over 100 exclusive homes were lost, and the 90,000 acre "La Brea Fire" in Santa Maria which is mostly an air show.
Volume 2 features the "Sheep Fire" in San Bernardino displaying explosive fire behavior threatening the town of Wrightwood destroying three structures and the "Guiberson Fire" in Fillmore which was the only wind driven fire during the fall destroying one structure and burning 17,000 acres.

09 was a bad year for fires in cali, i hope 10 is not as bad at all, ofcourse it shouldnt be with everything already haveing been burned in past years.

We get some wildfires here in north texas but no mountains to deal with thank goodness! great job and great video!
