Final Fantasy XII - Boss Battle #21: Judge Gabranth (Tip in Description)

After the party reaches the Womb of the Sun-Cryst area, Lady Ashe proceeds on to cutting the Sun-Cryst with the Treaty Blade but realizes that her late husband is one who not take revenge. Judge Gabranth then shows up and demands Ashe to pick up with sword and give the dead justice. Vaan corrects him as nothing will change from that and Ashe agrees, discarding the Dawn Shard in the process. Judge Gabranth then goes on with his attack.

A pretty straightfoward battle with no real surprises, aside from his combos. The reason I led the battle with Basch is that Gabranth's midway dialouge changes if Basch is in the main party.

Tip for Newcomers:

-Have Haste and Protect on your party. It's not required as you can beat Gabranth with ease but with his combo attacks, it's better safe than sorry.
