Richard Critchfield http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.... is an American essayist. He was on the editorial staff of the Washington Star, and on assignment in Asia.

Christopher Hitchens (born April 13, 1949) is an English-American author and journalist. His books, essays, and journalistic career have spanned more than four decades, making him a public intellectual, and a staple of talk shows and lecture circuits. He has been a columnist and literary critic at The Atlantic, Vanity Fair, Slate, World Affairs, The Nation, Free Inquiry, and a variety of other media outlets.

Diana, Princess of Wales, (Diana Frances; née Spencer; 1 July 1961 - 31 August 1997) was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales. Their sons, Princes William and Harry, are second and third in line to the throne of the United Kingdom and fifteen other Commonwealth Realms.

A public figure from the announcement of her engagement to Prince Charles, Diana remained the focus of worldwide media scrutiny before, during and after her marriage. This continued in the years following her death in a car crash and in the subsequent display of public mourning. Contemporary responses to Diana's life and legacy are mixed but popular interest with the Princess endures.

The Prince Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Since 1952, he has been heir apparent to the thrones of the Commonwealth realms. After earning a bachelor of arts from Trinity College, Cambridge, Charles served a tour of duty with Royal Navy in 1971-1976. He married Lady Diana Spencer before an enormous worldwide television audience in 1981. They had two children, Prince William of Wales in 1982 and Prince Harry of Wales in 1984. The couple separated in 1992 following numerous tabloid allegations concerning their relationship. They divorced in 1996 after Diana publicly accused the prince of having an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. Diana died in a car crash in 1997. In 2005, after a lengthy continued association, the Prince married Camilla, who uses the title Duchess of Cornwall.

The prince is well-known for his charity work and sponsors The Prince's Trust, The Prince's Regeneration Trust, and the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment. He has been outspoken concerning architecture and the conservation of old buildings and has produced a book on the subject called A Vision of Britain (1989). He has also expressed controversial views concerning herbal and other alternative medical treatment. Since 1958, his major title has been HRH The Prince of Wales. In Scotland he is known as The Duke of Rothesay, and The Duke of Cornwall in Cornwall.

  • Critchslap

  • Wow, its 1990s and they are talking about the death of manufacturing and farming and a manufacturing country. We need to give zero tax breaks/low taxes to our manufacturing companies

  • This was HItchens before he filled himself with hate.

  • A sad day, I have been reading his book these past few months and followed his battle with cancer, he was obviously degrading in health and appearance but the news of his death was nevertheless a shock. What a loss! There will be no more books, no more articles, no more beautiful prose and irony and insight. So sad...

  • Goodbye, Mr. Hitchens. Thank you for everything.

  • @Vostoek At least he's still a Marxist, I interpret his deviation from "Socialism" not as a direct repudiation, but rather a dissatisfaction with the development of supposedly Socialist alternatives. I think he's admitted to that.

  • Richard Critchfield is one of the few on this show fully worthy of sharing the table with Hitchens. Character, honesty, refreshing.

  • Great upload and GREAT channel... respect due

  • He was so dashing!

  • @lysergiclover haha, very accurate.
