From my Apple Discussion's thread:
So, this morning I grab my iPhone out of the charger and notice the menu bar (it was in the phone app) and it looks like it has a hard reflection line. I don't remember there ever being one, so I keep looking at it. I notice when I look at it about 140-170 degrees, it's coloring gets really dark. Almost like it's not bright from the side, at all. It looks like it's getting wet, like a sponge does.
I've also noticed that it seems to be creeping, evenly, down the screen. It's now passed the menu bar completely.
I created a video Link: [and posted it to YouTube|] to show what I'm talking about.
I was even able to get the 'scratches' I'm seeing in the screen. They aren't on the glass. There's nothing wrong with the LCD. It almost reminds me of video card/connector issues or artifacts.
Anyway, if anyone has a clue as to what's going on, I'd appreciate it. I'm already assuming I'll have to send it in again (first time, I was one of those who had 'bubbles' under the glass).
Thanks in advance.
Thats just what lcds do
