Scottish ORACLE Page Junction (31st January 1983)

Here is a video depicting a Scottish Television feed of the nationally-networked ORACLE junction on ITV but playing to the strains of the BBC2 Barry White tape leading into black roster before giving way to the Scottish station clock and then a familiar schools interval slide and then the familiar schools clock. I really like the way you've managed to not just recreate the different ITV clocks, but also overlay the company logos over the schools clocks. Well done!

Thanks Tim, very much appreciated. I have just been working on a Yorkshire version which I am uploading as I am typing this, and I will be working on an Ulster junction and then hopefully one for Channel Television, but I'm unsure about whether given they were a small company if they could have afforded to put out schools programmes in their region.

Just as Teletext UK will be closing their Teletext service in January. Teletext UK was always an imposter to ORACLE. ORACLE closed down with style ;-(

Tell you what though, I bought this SVHS video off eBay and I asked the guy to specifically throw in an SVHS recording made before 1992 if he could. He threw in a 1995 tape, but the recording quality wasn't as good as what my video can manage. Managed to see a bit of Ceefax of 95 though... if close to gobledegook.
