I had the extreme pleasure of working with Rodney Winfield for nearly a decade in the St.Louis area. In fact, it was my performances with Rodney Winfield that gave me the hands-on experience to perform in extreme ghetto clubs and rap concerts in which the crowds can be very loud, rude and unattentive. Rodney Winfield taught me how to use this discord to my advantage and not to struggle and insist on the crowd being silent.
Rodney use to tell me "If N......rs wanna be a part of the show, let'em, you the one getting paid in the end!" I have since performed in many hostil environments, including Penal Institutions all over this country as a Headliner, and I took Rodney Winfields spirit with me. There is no tuffer audience than thousands of prisoners, and because of Rodney Winfield's mentoring, I received standing ovations on the entire prison tour! Here is the link to my story I wrote about the Great Rodney Winfield, and I also wrote a movie script about his life and times, and it is in Production.

I owe this man so much, and now that he has made his transition, I would like his worldwide fans to have the opportunity to say goodbye to this Genius. Steve Harvey said that Rodney Winfield is the funniest comedian ever, living or dead, and Steve was correct. You had to see him in the hole in the wall clubs and bars, where he was at his best. So many of his fans could not make the journey to St.louis for his funeral services, so I am posting it here. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Home Going Service of Mr. Rodney Winfield! by Malik Jubal
One of my favorites. I'm saddened just watching this, but thanks..

@PointofBlu I know, I feel the same. I worked with Rodney in almost every hole in the wall club and bar in the world, I must have seen him do a million shows! And in each performance Rodney did something magical. Not just jokes, but some physical jesture, some wise social statement, or sometimes just the way he moved the microphone seemed cautiously choreographed. Rodney Winfield made everything he did on stage mean something, even when he said nothing, he was speaking volumes. Malik Jubal
