Something nobody has mentioned here is the fact that he's a great song writer! Those are potent lyrics, and ones that I happen to believe in quite deeply...maybe you can hit those notes? Maybe you can get some grind? But, I'd have to hear you before I believe you can sing with that passion and conviction, in that range, with that fat supportive tone while grinding out emotion! Absolutely unique! You know in 2 seconds who's singing this, no question! Nobody had done this before!

@ktrel54 Yeah he also uses a lot of falsetto which is easier than what Cornell does.
