  • @farmboyz330: that's the "magic" of the play--it never does! he's in love with helena from then on, and they are happily married at the end of the play. go figure.

  • in my opinion, demetrius was in love with hermia because of the same potion, just from before the play starts. he says that he fell in love with hermia the moment he saw her. and when he falls in love with helena, he says that he feels as if he has woken from a spell. i am probably wrong, but i just keep thinking that.
