First it's a good sign that the album sounds really different. It's a sign of the need to change. But changes are difficult, 'cause you don't want to lost your own. You have a special trademark e.g sound. The huge difference between ReiseReise and Mutter was about the crisis in which the band was after Mutter. For him, he had to found reality again, 'cause he was to much controlling the band. So it was on the edge to end Rammstein 'cause no one felt comfortable anymore.
