His talk is based on his latest book, The Greatest Show on Earth: the evidence for evolution. Recorded at the Concert Hall at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

  • @mediamannaman they actually don't have the instinctive ability to choose. the animals that didn't behave in a way that was good for survival would have died out. The traits that are best for their species will be passed on purely because the animals who have these traits are the ones that are most likely to survive and pass on their genes.

  • Dr. Dawkins gives us a few examples of animals, insects, etc. and how they choose their mates, or which flowers they will visit, etc. Right after, he says, "Any hereditary tendency to do something that is good for survival will automatically get passed on to the next generation.” But, from where do these animals & insects get the instinctive ability to choose the best traits for the survival of the race?

  • So, since women like men with long and thick penises , males have longer penises.

  • Couldn't you have cut out the bits from the radio?
