Description of Belt Sender what I was useing in this video: Central Machinery 2485

This stationary belt sander has a powerful 1/3-HP motor that moves at up to 3400 RPM for fast stock removal from your workpiece. Or fit it with a fine-grit belt (extra belts sold separately) for a smoother finish. The sanding belt surface won't clog because it "opens up" as it goes around the drive wheel.

■1" x 30" sanding belt, 80-grit
■Table tilts 0° to 45°
■Adjustable belt tracking
■1-3/4" diameter dust-collection chute
■Durable die cast and machined aluminum construction
■Rubber feet minimize vibration
Motor: 1/3 HP, 120V, 3 amps, 60 Hz
Table dimensions: 5-1/16" W x 5-1/8" L
Overall dimensions: 9" W x 11-1/8" L x 13-1/2" H
Shipping Weight: 14.35 lbs.

  • @vxAREKxv still a dumb ass for using a belt sander on a knife and why paint it

  • @786ni It's a ka-bar fighting knife

  • @knexbomb300 whats a belt grinder, is it a new invention they just made

  • Good stuff, belt sanders are awesome for sharpening really dull knives, if you don't like taking what seems like forever to reprofile a chipped edge on harder steels. However, I have to admit that the creepy music mixed with your lack of talking and your slightly slower than normal, meticulous hand movements in the cut test made you look like a serial killer lol. Still good demo though

p.s. sharpening with a stone is more fun :P

  • this is wont they tell u not to do on kabar websiite

  • nutter!

  • what belt grinder is that?

  • whats the name of that knife?

  • @carlyle0229 Nice, you kiss your kids with that mouth?

  • Never use ANYTHING that produces Sparks,,,NEVER,,,EVER. this blade will NOT stay sharp for long,,,you have tumpered it at the edge,,,it is screwed Yo will have to re-temper the whole knife. And that means an expert needs to do it,,,which will cost you as much as the knife cost new.
