  • We're playing this piece for NMMEA All-State Small School Band of 2010 tomorrow through Saturday. I made first Bb clarinet and I'm excited to play this! I get the melody pretty much the whole time :) Awesome performance, James Martin High! Definitely the best version of this song on youtube.

  • you guys have such a good balance of sound. im envious

  • Played this my junior year in high school in the middle band. Fun euphonium part.

  • @RyanZauros My band played this for competition last year too, AND I was 1st Clarinet (technically Solo clarinet, so mine was different from the rest of the 1st clarinets :D)! But.....

I broke my jaw 3 WEEKS BEFORE COMPETITION & they had to wire my jaw shut, so i couldn't play at all... When I found out I couldn't play, i started bawling my eyes out. We were playing another piece called Mt. Everest by Rossano Galante (amazing!), & I was 1st on that one too... needless to say, NO ME GUSTA!!

  • Played this in middle school. So simple.

  • With this as one of our songs my middle school band made 14th in the state in state honor band competition =D

  • Man, this is a really great song. I'm in the 9th grade Advanced Band, and I play tenor sax. We're playing it for our final concert. I love this song :)

  • This is one of our middle schools honors band UIL piece. I made first chair Euphonium and have most of the melody. =) I go in 2 days to our UIL performance.

  • @tinotonitini23 sigh well Martin and Bowie are in the same city and district and happen to be rivals.. Wikipedia. lol and all Arlington ISD fine arts start at the grade of 5th (orchestra) and 6 (band)
