@walkermydawg Clarke's books are decent. He is not the best of writers, sometimes meandering too long into reminiscing about the past, but his insider's perspective coupled with analysis of counter-terrorism issues as well as detailed recounts of history make them worth reading.

There can and will be good government when good people are operating it. The Reagan policy is to install people to government who hate government, sabotaging it from the inside in the hopes of privatizing all services
