Bambi ~ Imaginary ~ Evanescence

I thought I could bring something new and... imaginative to the contest =D

For those of you who didn't manage to read my poem it goes:
The weird creations of endless sleep
Those beings prepared by thoughtless insanity
In a state of tranquil mind so deep
Somewhere inside imaginations vanity

Translation:
The world we make inside our head to hide us from out own reality, is much better than the world we have while we're not day dreaming or sleeping! And the friends and people created in these dream like states, thought not really real, are ten times better than anyone we will ever find in our actual reality!

This is what this song speaks to me, this is what I take this video to be about. Bambi would much rather have his dream world than face his reality, that he'll never see his mother again, that his father wants nothing to do with him! So he sleeps and day dreams about a perfect place, where he has both loving parents.

This video is a THANK you, to everyone who's ever helped and supported me! The list is almost endless! Theres so much I want to tell everyone who's been following my life and my cries for attention and help and guidence! I'm thinking of making another video stateing how things have gone with my 'friend' and where I am now, in relation to my other contest video (my universal contest)
Only this time, it will be a happy video =D

wow that was amazing!!! and what makes it more amazing is that you used WMM!!!! Can you tell me what effect you used to make the background change but have the forground stay the same?

Not an effect my friend, just sheer hard work! Haha, what I did was I took the song, and made the background part that I wanted with all the changing scenes, I saved it as a movie file. Then I took the other scenes I wanted to put over it and saved that as a movie file. Then I re imported both of them and overlapped them =3 And Vola! The weird overlay effect haha

With great care and difficulty and it involved a lot of making two seperate videos to the same part of music, saving them as movie files, re importing them back into WMM and laying them over each other =D

I think this i what AMV makers are missing. Everyone is all crazed about sony vegas they forgot that true AMV's are made with talent, not effects.
