All people who lost Ottoman Empire - has sought to destroy. Also, western and eastern christianity of Slavs made​slavs of their god. Guys, learn ancient history and don't quarrel! These marcial arts together with swords appeared long before Slavs or Turks appeared as nations!! Originally Cossacks were not slavic!! The creators of the Great Osman empire came from the region of the Altai!! And before that we all used to be ONE People. Don't quarrel but enjoy the vid. It's really good))

@eljadro You know after we became republic turkey, russia gave us weapon support (i guess they sold but not sure). And about ancestors, if you go deep enough you might even discuss about what men in stone age did. History is history and if it had a little spark of change, none of us would be living today. Just think of it, if your parents had even a minute different before they make you, you wouldnt be alive (dont even have to mention how the history before that effects).

@eljadro Ottoman empire did no service to the turkish people in anatolia and the islam you speak of is still wrong understood by the muslims because if they taught and lived with true islams no one would hate islam. Only seljuks built trade centers, workhouses, mosques and such in anatolia and ottoman empire simply did nothing for us and they even forbidded turks to ride and breed horses. Half of our country including myself hates turkish prime minister because he wants to take our freedom.

@eljadro Instead of insulting your knowledge and intelligence, i would like to suggest you to check scimitar on wikipedia (since this sword is originated from the scimitar) and check slav on wikipedia and read the whole thing. Slavs were invaded and enslaved by many tribes and therefore learned to forge their equipment with time. One of the many and important were turks and slavs learned to forge and use turkish scimitar along with other equipments.
