@chinary8 like I said nothings wrong with it its a good anthem and i dont mind them using is. But if i were a Vancouver fan I would like my club to have their 'own' anthem

White is the color, is a song borrowed from Chelsea FC's Blue is the color, which was recorded in 1972 by the likes of Peter Bonetti, Ron Harris, Peter Osgood etc. Vancouver re-recorded it around 1978. I don't blame them for using Blue is the color, and i don't have anything against Vancouver using "our" anthem. The only thing I don't get is why you'd wanna use another club's anthem as your anthem. Up the Chels!

It's not a rip off of any song, it's just a re-record. The Whitecaps havn't claimed they created it or anything. Why all the pathetic hatred over a song lol?

@SuperAjax96 Spoken like a true moron flatlander. The Whitecaps used this since 1974, which is long before I ever heard Greenies singing it. Both the Whitecaps and the Greenies stole it from Chelsea FC in England.
